A quick visit to Aulani

Last month, I had the opportunity to visit the island of Oahu with a group of friends.  We stayed on the north shore (Laie) but I absolutely had to visit Aulani while I was on the island!  It was a short visit, just a few hours, but man oh man is it impressive!  Most of my photos were of the interior of the main (lobby) building.

I did spend a bit of time wandering in the gardens and pool areas (I even saw a line of guests waiting to meet Pluto!) and had lunch at the little cafe in the pool area.

Before I left, I did some pin & plush shopping for @TheTwins , and picked up some little keychain plush for my two girls, and a pin for myself to commemorate the visit.  Then I took a few more photos of the lobby area while I waited for my ride.

I'm very glad that I took the time to visit Aulani and hope that I can go again, maybe even as a guest some day!

What absolutely fabulous pictures! Loved seeing them and reading the details of your trip. Aulani is one of my "dream destinations", and it was so sweet of you to do the shopping for us. You really made our year!
