Oh Mickey! I am confused

I know there's a whole series of these pins I have one that matches the angry expression but not color. 

Only other one I can find with this angry expression is in dark blue. And this one is in a light purple.

I have this pin, too! But mine is bluer. I would guess that this is a scrapper version, since the color is so different. However, someone might know if this series had big colour differences, which some can. Tagging someone who might know: @mollyanne

Mickey's teeth on this pin should be white.  This is definitely a scrapper.

A Scrapper is a fake pin.  Someone trying to duplicate it to make a buck.

Sometimes a production run has an issue and is rejected by quality control. These rejected pins end up being sold off cheap and make their way through various routes to the US usually from cheap bulk pin distributor. There used to be many tell tail signs to spot scrapper pins. However, since COVID quality control has been lacking.

Fakes are knock offs someone unauthorized has produced to make a few bucks.

Okay that's what I thought I'm going to wind up keeping it anyway my favorite color is purple and I just don't have the heart to give somebody a grumpy Mickey as I call it
