server error 500 when adding new pins?

Hello, I have been trying to add some pins to the database and I have repeatedly gotten an error message "server error 500" when I submit the pin to be added.  Happened both yesterday and today.  Any ideas what the trouble is?

This happens when certain characters are used in the description that the program does not like.  Or if the title is too long. How are you adding the pins? PC, Tablet, Phone?  I'm trying to think of all the times I received that message and what I was doing.

 

I also got that message when trying to use symbols on my tablet for the ©.
