Returning to Pinpics after a LOOOOOONG Hiatus

Wooohoooo! I'm back! It's been a beat (or three) since I've been on here. I just finished getting my account set up in the new system, updated my passwords, and am still working on adding all my traders and keepers. BUT it's happening! Thankfully I have a lot of free time next month to try to get this as up to date as possible.

 

I look forward to connecting with old friends, making new friends, and just finding joy in my favorite hobby. 

 

I love to help people get their grails and complete sets, it's just so fun and I especially love seeing what other people collect (I'm obsessed with obscure and specific collections, so fun!). I myself have basic b*tch taste in pins lol.  I love princesses, Stitch, and cute animals. Not super specific, but I am fussy. I have to like the artwork, I don't like numbers or words (few expections, i.e. character names or like "Aloha" on a Stitch pin), I don't like moving parts or free-D, and I love the ones that come on cards and sealed in plastic (if they don't I tend to put them in myself :-)), all that saying my specific "wants" tend to be a bit eclectic. 

 

I used to be a major "Little Mermaid" collector and for personal reasons, I'm needing to let go of most of those pins (mental health related to Ariel's unrealistic image, I'm better now, but its a space in my head that I just need to clear out) so I'm trying to sell or at least trade those pins for other princesses or pins that bring me joy. 

 

I started collecting pins in 2008 on my first trip to Disney (WDW) with my parents shortly after being adopted. It was my first hobby and still my most passionate one! My first pin we got at a Disney Outlet in Orlando. It was PP53063 "WDW - Tinker Bell - Just Chillin'" it's not something I still collect, but because it was my very first pin, I'm looking to find it again. I traded it shortly after I got it and didn't even think that I might want to keep my first pin. So, that said, if you have one, please send me a trade offer or message if you are open to trading! I still have a LOT of pins I haven't listed as traders yet so feel free to tell me what you collect and I will add anything I have that fits next :-).  

 

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all better! I probably should mention that I'm autistic and while Disney pins are most definitely my "special interest", I'm definitely known to get fixated on something and forget to check on things and get behind on answering messages. So if you don't hear from me, PLEASE feel free to write again, chances are good I'm not ignoring you, I just got distracted. 

 

Also (kinda unrelated but thought I might mention it) I used to collect fantasy pins, but I've decided that I'm wanting to really focus on official pins instead, so if you are interested in fantasy and open to trading for official, I'm willing to make "unfair" trades for them in your advantage as I just want to let them go at this point.
