splitpersonality Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 (edited) I am questioning the authenticity of this pin. Backstamp says year is 2012, but I can't locate it on any of the pin sites. Colors seem accurate, fonts used on the back are consistent with other pins I own and the waffling pattern looks correct to me. The one peculiarity I saw was the FAC number. Usually it isn't printed in the manner as it is on this pin. The pic of the back isn't as clear as it could be, but I didn't want to upload a super sized photo. FAC number is printed to the left of the pin and nubs. About the centerline of the ear, started close to the outer edge. In photo it looks like a smudge. I would welcome thoughts and feedback. Solution Dragon57 Posted October 3, 2024 Solution Posted October 3, 2024 The pin looks good to me. The backstamp looks correct and no boarders. I have never seen a scrapper with a FAC number either printed of lasered 3
disneyfanatic01 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 This pin is authentic. As far as I know FAC #'s are never lasered onto pins. The nubs also look sharp and the right size. 1
