MonsterSeanster
I've got a number of pins that I wasn't able to find on the database that I'm hoping someone might be able to help me find. I just joined the site/app today and I see that I shouldn't be adding photos for a month or so. I took photos to the best of my ability following the guidelines with what technology I have available to me. Apologies if any of these don't make the cut. I know that Sully and Boo were a Loungefly set. The Stitch ice cream shop, and the two Star Wars terrarium style pins are all also Loungefly pins. The rest I obtained from a mystery set of pins and don't have information on at this time. Thank you in advance for any and all help!
Solution Dragon57 Posted November 11 Solution Share Posted November 11 Arlo (dinosaur) is 114784 Baby Pluto is 47614 Simba is 90948 Mary Gilbert Gracey (Haunted Mansion) is 141623 And the Alice Pocket Watch is 115020 The remaining pin are not in the database. Your white background shows pin holes. If you could find some white foam that will work wonders by not showing older pin holes. Otherwise most of your pictures are pretty good.
MonsterSeanster
@Dragon57 Thank you so much for your help with identifying some of these pins! I don't have any white foam on hand but I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to track some down. With me being a member for less than 30 days, do I need to worry about taking new pics and uploading, or do I perhaps need to send photos to someone to upload into the database on my behalf or anything like that? Just curious on your take for how to proceed. I want to make sure I follow all of the applicable rules/guidelines for the site.
Dragon57
I think you should wait until you are able to submit pictures / add pins to the database. Practice taking pictures so no glare (shiny from the light), shadows (foam will help here too), not blurred. Crop close to the pin but leave a small space between the pin and the edge of the picture. Also take back pictures as we are adding the backs to all pins. Getting a light box (if you don't already have one) will help.
