TheTwins Posted Sunday at 02:37 PM Posted Sunday at 02:37 PM We can't let too much of the year pass by before featuring this really cool pin! Ever since Holland @ScoopsPins came to a Thursday Night ZOOM last year and showed this pin, Sis and I have been fascinated with this whole event test. What pin, you ask? Why, it's PP48866 -- WDI Team Possible Test 'Thank You'. The cool thing about this pin is not so much the design (although it's pretty neat) but how it was obtained. The WDI team ran a month-long test (beginning in mid-August 2006) of a new Scavenger Hunt Adventure through the Canada, UK and France pavilions at EPCOT. It was a revolutionary high-tech project that allowed hidden actors to interact with the guests on a personal level through a Kim-municator (a modified phone). Only a certain number of guests were hand-selected each day to take part in the test. Upon completion of the adventure, the guest was given this pin. Also, throughout the month, a limited number of these pins were found on Cast lanyards around the areas used in the test. Here's a snip of the DizPins.com announcement when this pin was first spotted in August 2006: After the testing period was completed, WDI R&D went back to work before debuting a refined version of the adventure in January 2009. So, did anyone here take part in this adventure? Please, share your memories! Information on this 2006 test is not easy to come by, and there used to be loads of pictures and videos posted online showing it. If anyone has anything from this that you're willing to share, please post a reply here or send us a PM. We're in the middle of researching this and are looking for anything we can find that would fill in the history of the 2006 test. Thanks! ~ Sarah
