Has this AK 25 pin been scrapped?

Wondering if anyone knows if I should be worried about this pin having been faked/scrapped . . . in other words, could it be not legitimate?

I wouldn't worry, especially since it has the new gemstone authentication.

I would think that this pin would be expensive to try to fake (think profit margin for counterfeiters).

It looks real to me for these reasons:

   - The pin on pin portion (Mickey) is smooth with nice finish

   - The edges of the Mickey portion are smooth and have the proper angle

   - All the characters have eyes

   - The back includes the new gemstone Mickey icon

   - All the lettering on the back is legible with correct spelling

   - The Mickey waffle pattern looks to be the proper size, is oriented in the proper direction and goes to the edge

These are all the things I look at.  This pin would pass my test.

I haven't heard of the pins with the new Mickey icon insert on the back being counterfeit yet...

I traded one pin with gemstone, but there was no laser printed FAC-code, the real one should have the laser printed code.

and they also have differences in scale of color, thick, and details.

Okay thank you. Have to learn how to spot new scappers.
