Are trades pin for pin? Or can I just pay through paypal

Is there a how-to guide on how to buy pins from people that are selling? Do I just reach out to the people that have a pin they marked as trading if Im wanting to buy the pin?

Usually I prefer to trade, there are some that list pins for sale. You can always PM the person with the pin you want to see if they are willing to sell the pin(s).
